The National Foundation for Australia-China Relations is committed to ensuring that its online information and experiences are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, technology or platforms.

Web standards

Our website aims to conform to Level A – and strives to meet, where possible, Level AA – of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0).

We also aim to meet the Digital Transformation Agency's requirements for Australian Government websites.

Exceptions

While accessibility is a major priority for us, we cannot control the accessibility of online content outside of our domain – including any websites/content linked from our pages.

We recognise that some of our content is not as accessible as it could be. Meeting accessibility guidelines is an ongoing process and we are consistently working to improve this.

PDFs

Some material on our website is provided in Portable Document Format (PDF). To view or print a PDF you will need to have a PDF reader installed.

We understand that some users may still find accessing PDF files difficult and we have, where possible, taken steps to ensure that alternative formats are available. However, despite our best efforts, some PDF files – such as scanned and older PDFs and those containing complex statistics and data tables – cannot be made fully accessible.
